From Shanghai inking a deal with major retail groups UCCAL Italian fashion brand Roberto Cavalli recently announced his plan to launch 85 new stores in China over the next five years.


The company said that it proposes to launch its first office in Beijing and Shanghai by the end of this year or early next year.


Roberto Cavalli group owns a 75 percent stake in the new company name Roberto Cavalli China, while UCCAL holds the remaining 25 percent stake.


Of the 85 stores offered five will be high-class "Roberto Cavalli" points, which will be administered by a new firm, and the other 80 stores to the more popular brands such as "Class Roberto Cavalli" , and "Just Cavalli" will be directly managed UCCAL.


There are already 20 points to "Class Roberto Cavalli" and "Just Cavalli" names in China .


Cavalli which was established in Florence in the early 1960's, fell victim to the financial crisis in the global economic crisis, but he has recovered now.


Collection brand is currently displayed in over 50 countries worldwide.


Cavalli is one of several European luxury goods and fashion retailer, which entered the rapidly growing Chinese market in recent years.
